LAURA FARINA
Art Director

October 2021 through June 2022 I worked in a production-style woodshop in Waynesboro, Virginia with an amazing crew of talented people. We made high-quality cooking utensils and I listened to a lot of playlists.

Below are a few items that I made for friends as gifts during this time, in addition to a few other larger scale projects that currently live in my house.
Nightstand (2020) -
salvaged old growth pine body + tapered oak legs turned
on the lathe, double mitred edges, hand-cut repurposed stained glass
drawer pull
Reading Chair (2021) -
Mitred legs and lap joint frame made out of old growth pine and spanish cedar, built extra wide for long hours of reading in the sun.
